Camera partners

Put your camera in every robot-learning simulator. Robot teams choose cameras early, and increasingly in simulation: they train perception and policies on simulated images before they buy hardware. A camera in the TwinRobo catalog is one those teams can evaluate, train with and deploy in MuJoCo, LIBERO, RoboCasa and Isaac Sim, rendered through its real optics.

The TwinRobo Camera Partner program is for camera and lens makers who want their products represented accurately, and for companies who want to sponsor the open environment their customers use.

What partners contribute

Any of these, in whatever form you can share:

  • Optical data: a lens prescription (or a model your team exports to DeepLens format), or measured PSFs, MTF and distortion across the field.
  • Calibration: factory intrinsics and distortion of production units, vignetting and relative illumination, the fixed focus distance.
  • Sample units: so a real camera can be measured and the model fitted to it.
  • Sponsorship: funding for GPU compute, validation captures and maintenance of the catalog and simulator adapters.

Published catalog data is Apache-2.0, free for anyone to use in any product, whatever license a customer uses TwinRobo's code under. Data that cannot be published can stay private: an entry can be built and validated with you and ship only what you approve (for example a surrogate lens that matches your measurements, rather than the prescription itself).

What partners get

  • A manufacturer_verified catalog entry: the highest status in the catalog, reviewed with your engineers and shown on the camera catalog.
  • Every simulator and rendering method: your camera works in MuJoCo and Isaac Sim, with the fast PSF renderer and the per-ray lens renderers, and in the simulator adapters that follow.
  • Visibility: your company and products listed as a partner in the repository README and on this site, and a showcase example rendered with your camera.
  • Early integration: new products added at launch, stereo modules with your baseline and rectification, and a direct line for the features your customers ask for.

How to start

Open a Camera partner inquiry with your company, the products you would like represented and how you would like to take part. Follow-up can be private; nothing about your products is published without your approval.
